BHEL also have an extensive overseas footprint in 80 countries with cumulative overseas installed capacity of BHEL manufactured power plants nearing 11,000 MW including UAE, Oman, Rwanda, Sudan,, Belarus, Bhutan, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Oman, Rwanda, Sudan & Tajikistan.
The highly competent level of quality & reliability of BHEL products is due to adherence to international standards by acquiring and adapting some of the best technologies from leading companies in the world including GEC, Alstom SA, Siemens AG and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd, together with technologies developed in its own R&D centers.
It Uppoor Thermal project is in problem with Jayalalithaa’s Death is some of the minor issues it is facing is a normal things in business cycle.
Conclusion: In short, BHEL was expanding restructuring and revamping these years. We may see good move in coming years.
