@alohasurf this is a trading website, not necessarily investing website. So I am trading this and the rest of the travel sector. Debts is absolutely irrelevant in this case. Every single person you talk to wants to travel and airlines have pricing power to compensate for any increase in fuel costs, so they will all go up in share price. Airlines are not great investments even in the best of times. But in the short term, I see the entire sector going up 30% as vaccines increase, delta variant has already peaked, borders opening up, international and business travel is already bouncing back, and thanksgiving and Christmas travel will be enormous!!! Stay long!

@ktaba, I am showing you the obvious on this chart...okay, let's see how this plays out. I don't see any bullish signals on this chart. There's a head and shoulder patterns and bearish harmonic patterns playing out right now... Sorry I cannot see this going on 30%. Good Luck and have fun traveling with your friends! :)

@alohasurf, I like your thinking for the long term to snatch up some shares. However, for options plays, in the short term, the sentiment of travelers weighs heavily. The recent news of another treatment against covid will soon be on the market has definitely peaked investors to jump in. Obviously, this is easy to say after a day like today. DAL up 7%!

@alohasurf, I don’t think so! Just look at the TSA numbers, wall st doesn’t think it’ll continue, but I disagree. People will continue to travel and energy prices will come down. I hold stocks for years, even over a decade, so it doesn’t matter to me in the short term. But I am not a technical guy either lol
