Howdy Traders, we already know that Triangle occurs in Corrective waves and Diagonal occurs in Impulsive waves. Their are three type of Triangle 1)Expanding Triangle 2)contraction Triangle 3)barrier Triangle Their are 2 types of Diagonal 1) Leading Diagonal 2) Ending diagonal --------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the example to expanding diagonal Rules : wave C,D,E each moves beyond the end of the preceding same - directional sub wave. sub waves B,C and D each retrace at least 100% but not more then 150.75 % of preceding sub wave. sub waves B, C, D usually retrace 105 to 125 % of the preceding sub wave. No sub wave has yes been observed to subdivide into a triangle
So basically you don't know where these Expanding Diagonal come in , do they come during Wave 2 ? or They come in between Wave 1 ? if you don't know you can always ask some one , its OK to ask , its social site traders helping traders

@Riya_roze, its really irrelevant , because Price is fractal in nature if you take 5 mint chart you can find the same Expanding diagonal in 5 Mint but larger time frame pattern may be in Side way corrective pattern , so the most important message is , regardless of time frame one must know where we have to expect such patterns

@ShreeKrishna, if Wave 3 is extended then it wont come as Expanding diagonal in Wave 5 it will form an Contracting Ending diagonal , because the trend is already Extended so the Mass psychology starts noticing the peaks and fear starts gripping the market at that given point the only possible pattern is Contracting Ending diagonal , Next time if you try to learn the theory please follow some Qualified Analyst
@Riya_roze, In 5th Wave @ C wave location you dont see expanding diagonal , You will Find Expanding Ending diagonal only when Wave 3 is Not Extended wave , when wave 3 is not extended the wave 5 will end as Busting out form Expanding Diagonal and its Called or referred as Expanding Ending diagonal because it ends the Trend on all degree of time frame
