hi, isn't buying a PE better than selling a CE? Or is there something I'm missing. Also why does selling an option require higher margin than buying one?

@tomriddlecoc, Selling a CE is way better because, in that even if the market consolidates you will get time decay value, so higher winning chances, option seller may have a situation of limited profit or unlimited losses and hence they need to deposit margin.
