Nifty is still in an uptrend. I suggest not to short it yet because there isn't any negative news around like the covid 19 situation. Aah I know there are some news about the re-implementation of lockdown in maharashtra but let it break the channel downward first then we will think about it and second is that, most of the companies have learned how to deal with the situation of lockdown if it happens again and if the lockdown happens again people won't gonna panic sell there stocks like they did last time. So I dont think that we will see a crash in near future unless there is any liquidity crises(people find it hard to borrow money because of higher interest rates). Currently interest rates are the lowest of all time and people can easily borrow money with less interest easily and inject the money in stocks to rise. So simply, don't short yet.
