RELIANCE Vs TATA : A Case Study

RELIANCE CAPITALNSE

Description

In last 10 years the two giants of Indian economy had a rather contradicting journey.
THe comparison in the post above is just identify the pattern that Reliance and TATA creates whenever it starts a new company.

RELIANCE==
IT starts off amazing. with record IPO subscription and money pouring into the market from all direction coz of their name, it grows in leaps ad bounds within one or two years.Reching the top it just stops its engine and drop dead without its wings, it falls(almost all of them hv fell soo low afetr their initial boom that its impossible to imagine them recover, except Reliance industries, ofcourse.)
Its really striking how almost all of reliance follows same pattern.

on the other hand TATAs starts off slow
Making their place and position . Falling recovering moving up, to great heights in the long run. As it can be seen for most of the TATAs companies

Just Trying to evaluate what i saw from all the charts. Nothing personal !!! :D

All Reliance companies-> Dosent matter whats the name is, just see the pattern of the graph
Most of them follow the pattern, not all.

All TATAs--> Again, just watch the pattern.Most of them follow the pattern, not all.

Just my two cents !

what you have not taken into consideration is bonus shares allotted by reliance. Reliance allotted 100% bonus shares few months back, therefore, even though the stock price hasn't increased the return is more than double due to bonus share. and also this is not the first time they have allowed bonus shares.

@mahabalesh, Thats a good point. But except for RELIANCE INDUSTRIES, none of the reliance companies has issued bonus shares.( I just checked and theres no info on moneycontrol and others. i may be missing something)
Reliance industries is in only one is in green anyways , as i have mentioned in the post.
Thanks.
