Dada, I just dont seem to understand the Greek options (Teta etc.,) to trade in options. I cant figure out which strike price to play (either put or call). Dont know how to chose which strike price to trade. Eventually I lose out money even if i Have a "Call" or "Put" trade. Hence in trade in Futures with some minor tech analysis with candle stick patterns, MA's, RSI and Chaikin money flow.
But cant make up mind on profit targets, Hence even with small profit I exit the trade and find that gave up capitalising on a big movement, Like today was short on Berger at 571 and squared
off when price reached 569. Chaikin was still in negative and did not cross 0. Just an example hence wanted to know if you also study with respect to futures trading for intra day trading

@SAIKAT1102, You did pHD. To drive a train, You do not need to know the entire manufacturing details of that stupid train. Why don't you just sell 1400PE of Relinace with stoploss for lets say 50% of the premium and target at 50% of the premium? If you want less risk do 1380PE. As simple, as that!

@Amit_Ghosh, Dada Thanks. For you it may be very simple because due to experience just by looking you may say which strike price to trade. My question is how to decide which strike price to trade? some trade in in the market, some trade out of the market etc etc, but how to decide. Because i dont write put or call. if i want to go long i may buy call or if short then buy put. Because the margin required in writing would be higher. whenever i have traded in options always the traded price of the strike price has always fallen and i have 100% success of losing money in option :))

@SAIKAT1102, I do not know. I do not have knowledge of option buying and do not want to have knowledge of options buying. Please consult some other person.

@Amit_Ghosh, ohh Im sorry, I thought that normally people trade with options rather than futures or stocks (since stocks cannot be shorted if not in demat). Hence requested you, I am sorry. Hope to continue reading your analysis. I am in awe with your analysis.
