@SSR1997, I will not recommend this. But if you want to, you'll have to provide for the delivery of the short sale stock if you do not own it. Rather sell naked call/put(risky) or you could create a spread(sell option of the strike price according to your view + buy option of the next strike that is cheaper than the sold one, risk is less here than doing naked shorts). You'll know upfront the maximum profit and loss. With spreads you can take the advantage of time decay with less risk. Buying puts may lose value via time decay. For example, in this case after SBI reaches 348-350, SELL 375 CALL + BUY 380 CALL. This was just an example from this SBI chart, as you'll have to check the risk:reward during that time.
