if one finds that at critical moments when one should act fast instead of pulling the trigger one freezes up , it makes sense to instal an autotrading system with the exact conditions programmed in to replicate what one would have done manually for entry exit and stop loss - it is a great way to take emotions out of trading - but of course if one follows a discretionary system that cannot be translated into a computer program this would not be possible - for those traders who practise rule based trading robotrading/algotrading makes eminent sense
