Long
NSE:UPL   UPL LTD
Namaste!
UPL is a very good pick for investing, from Nifty 50 stocks.
Why?
1. It has an average EPS of Rs 29.50 since the last 6 years.
2. It is from the agriculture chemical sector, which is a good sector to invest in. The sectors I don't recommend are Aviation, Telecom, Etc.
3. It's IV is Rs 1390, if 29.50 EPS and 6.1% (India 10-Year Bond Yield) is considered. Currently the bond yield is 7.4%.
4. It has corrected enough, hence it becomes more lucrative to me and other value investors. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.

The buy price should be at high of Rs 672. I will be trailing entry prices (if not executed) in the comment section.

Comment:
I expect anyone who is reading my writings to know that there is nothing "certain" in the markets. Neither the %gain on stock nor "out-performance" or "under-performance". There is a risk and opportunity cost involved in both, buying and selling. Selling at any price can often result in "opportunity loss" when the stock moves higher and higher. Human psychology is a culprit here. For e.g. I post any stock which seems undervalued or overvalued to me on tradingview. When anyone makes money on that, they wont appreciate me "a single word". But when they lose or it results in opportunity loss, they are bound to blame me. I don't criticize any person, because I know their psychology has defeated them. At last, there is nothing like "easy money" in the markets. The survival of the fittest holds absolutely true here.

I have mentioned that the intrinsic value increases or decreases overtime in one of my writings. I've mentioned IV as Rs 1390 in this writing, which has been reduced to Rs 653 currently. It's because FY 2023 EPS was Rs 47.56 and TTM EPS is currently standing at Rs 24.72. Market got it right this time at predicting the decreased EPS (the efficient market hypothesis) . Anyways, in my opinion, this isn't a good time to sell as this stock is in a loss. If anyone decides to sell, the price should probably be Rs 793.
Comment:
Disclosure: I have around 5% of my capital in this stock.
