BTEK invests in technology companies globally that develop innovative and emerging technologies. The fund includes firms of varying market capitalizations and must generate the bulk of their revenues from the development, advancement, use or sale of new and emerging next generation, technology-related products, processes or services. The Adviser uses their own research and discretion to determine whether a company is a technology or technology-related company. Companies may include those software, hardware, electronic equipment, semiconductors, interactive media and services, internet retail, consumer finance, health care technology, and diversified telecom services. Securities are selected for their rapid and perceived sustainable growth. The fund may invest in IPOs and may enter in credit default swaps for risk management. During temporary defensive periods, the fund may invest up to 100% of its assets in liquid, short-term investments.
