Graphex Mining Limited is engaged in the exploration and development of mineral resources, with a focus on the Chilalo Graphite Project in Tanzania. The Company's Chilalo Graphite Project is located in south-east Tanzania, within the Mozambique belt, which is known for hosting coarse flake graphite deposits. Chilalo is host to the coarse flake Shimba graphite deposit. The high-grade zone (greater than 5% Total Graphitic Carbon (TGC)) of the Shimba deposit consists of approximately 9.2 million tons (Mt) grading 10.7% TGC for over 984,100 tons of contained graphite. The high-grade resource is part of the total Indicated and Inferred Shimba Mineral Resource estimate of over 25.1 Mt, which includes a low-grade inferred resource of approximately 15.9 million tons grading 3.3% TGC for over 523,000 tons of contained graphite. It consists of a probable ore reserve of over 4.7 Mt grading 11.0% TGC for approximately 984,100 tons of contained graphite.
