Manufacturing is the most important sector and accounts for 90 percent of total production. The biggest segments within Manufacturing are: Fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment (12 percent of total production); electrical equipment (10 percent); motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (7 percent); rubber and plastic products (7 percent); machinery and equipment (6 percent); food products (5 percent); and basic metals (5 percent). Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply account for 9 percent of total output and mining and quarrying account for 1 percent.
