United Company RUSAL Plc is a Cyprus-based company principally engaged in aluminum businesses. The Company operates through four segments. Aluminum segment is engaged in the production and sales of primary aluminum and related products. Alumina segment is engaged in the mining of bauxite, the refining of bauxite into alumina and the sales of alumina. Energy segment is engaged in the mining and sales of coal, as well as the generation and transmission of electricity. Mining and Metals segment is engaged in the investment in PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel. The Company is also engaged in the manufacture of semi-finished products from primary aluminum for the transportation, packaging and consumer goods industries, among others.
