Union Steel Holdings Ltd. is an investment holding company, which engages in trading ferrous scrap metal and distributing construction steel. It operates through the following segments: Metals, Scaffolding, Engineering, and Others. The Metals segment offers import and export of scrap metals, waste collection services, and trading and leasing of metal products. The Scaffolding segment provides scaffolding and consultancy services. The Engineering segment is involved in civil construction and engineering work; manufacturing of motor vehicle bodies; mechanical construction and fabrication services and repair; and commissioning, sale, and rental of marine deck equipment. The Others segment includes income from rental of properties. The company was founded by Yu Seng Ang and Yew Chye Ang in 1984 and is headquartered in Singapore.
