Paz Oil Co. Ltd. engages in operating filling stations and retail complexes. It operates through the following segments: Transportation Energy, Food Retail, Real Estate, Gas and Renewable Energies, Refining and Logistics, and Other. The Transportation Energy segment consists of managing the filling station complexes including transport, marketing and sale of fuels, and electric charging of vehicles. The Food Retail segment is involved in the chains of convenience stores and neighborhood supermarkets consisting of the marketing and sale of various foods and nonfoods through the yellow convenience store chain and the neighborhood supermarket chains. The Real Estate segment focuses on the real estate potential through rezoning and upgrading of properties owned and leased by the company. The Gas and Renewable Energies segment market, distribute, and sale of LPG for cooking, heating and fueling LPG-operated cars, to institutional, business, and private customers. The Refining and Logistics segment import crude oil and related products, manufacturing oil distillates, generating electricity and steam for in-house use and generating electricity for sale to external customers. The company was founded in 1922 and is headquartered in Netanya, Israel.
