The fund focuses on dividend growth. It seeks to track the performance of an index that focuses on US issuers of any size that are believed to have increased their dividends for the past 10 years, while excluding the top 25% highest-yielding companies based on indicated annual dividend yield (IAD). Eligible securities are derived from the S&P United States BMI (including REITs) and are market-cap-weighted. It is designed for investors seeking long-term capital growth from a diversified portfolio delivering efficient exposure to the potential of US dividend-growers. The index is reviewed annually. Prior to September 20, 2021, the fund tracked the Nasdaq US Dividend Achievers Select Index (CAD Hedged).
