Charting Crypto Total Market Cap Excluding Top 10 Dominance is a good proxy for alt-seasons as it removes the majors, the stables, and the undying cults.
Beginning in 2015 and in keeping with crypto's cyclicality to date, this index has risen significantly and then retested the bottom of the channel before taking off the to upper limit of the channel during what we now affectionately call 'The Banana Zone.'
Alts just completed their retest of the channel's lower boundary so if history rhymes things are about to get Very interesting.
