Belgrade bourse BELEX15 lifted by NIS
BELGRADE (Serbia), December 25 (SeeNews) - BELEX15, the blue-chip index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, rose slightly on Wednesday, lifted by gains in oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS], bourse data showed.
The BELEX15 added 0.09% to close at 1,140.08 points.
NIS was the only blue-chip gainer, rising by 1.04% to 780 dinars at close as 345 shares traded.
At the other end, insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] was the only blue-chip decliner, falling by 0.60% to close at 1,320 dinars in a trade of 35 shares.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] closed flat at 2,000 dinars as 214 shares changed hands. Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] also closed unchanged, at 8,120 dinars, as 25 shares traded.
No other blue chips traded on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation-weighted index, also slightly rose, by 0.04%, closing at 2,441.46 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse declined to 21.8 million dinars ($193,908/ 186,290 euro) from 29.2 million dinars on Tuesday. Trading in government securities accounted for some 10.7 million dinars of the total on Wednesday, compared to 1.9 million dinars on Tuesday.
