Egypt paid $38.7 bln of its debts in 2024, prime minister says

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Wednesday said that Egypt has paid $38.7 billion of its debts during 2024.

Speaking during the weekly cabinet, Madbouly added that $7 billion were paid off in November and December.
