Talks stop between Boeing's defense division and striking machinists

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers union (IAM) said on Tuesday that Boeing Defense BA informed the union that the company would not resume negotiations in St. Louis until after the Labor Day holiday, with no plans of a definite date.

Boeing did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
