COT Directional Bias_ASCode)

This indicator is a directional bias helper built from COT sign inputs (Long vs Short positioning). It does not generate entries—only a weekly bias snapshot + a strict FX pairing list.
What it shows
- Week of (Tuesday date) auto-updates using real time (New York/ET) — it rolls to the next Tuesday only after Friday 3:30 PM ET, and stays locked on that Tuesday until the next Friday cutoff.
- Strong / Weak / Neutral buckets for:
Currencies (USD proxy uses DXY inputs)
Markets (DXY, GOLD, SIL, ES, NQ, BTC)
Strict FX Pair Rule (how BUY/SELL is decided)
BUY only when Base = Strong and Quote = Weak
SELL only when Base = Weak and Quote = Strong
Anything involving Neutral is skipped (no edge)
Panel behavior
- Panel has a simple view toggle: All / COT result / Pairs
- Background state:
Old COT window (gray panel): Wed 6:00 PM → Fri 6:00 PM ET
Normal window: outside that time
- Includes font color toggle + opacity sliders for readability on any chart theme.
Notes

- You can override any symbol/currency to Strong / Weak / Neutral using the mode dropdown.
