alerts for divergence Step-by-Step to Enable Alerts
Right Sidebar: Look at the vertical toolbar on the far right of your screen. Click the Clock Icon (Alerts).
Create Alert: Click the + Create Alert button (or press Alt + A).
Condition: This is the most important part. Click the first dropdown box (which usually shows the Coin/Ticker name) and select AV 8 - Divergence Alerts.
Choose the Signal: Once you select the script, a second dropdown will appear directly below it. Click that to choose:
Bullish Divergence
Bearish Divergence
Any Divergence
Trigger: Select Once Per Bar Close. This prevents "repainting" alerts and ensures the divergence is actually locked in.
Create: Click Create at the bottom.

How to make the Alert work for "Each Graph"To have the script alert you regardless of which chart you are viewing, you have two options depending on your TradingView subscription:
Option A: The Standard Way (One alert per coin)
Open BTCUSD. Set an alert for "AV 9".
Open ETHUSD. Set an alert for "AV 9".
The alert will stay active for that specific coin even if you change your main screen to a different graph.
Option B: The "Any alert() function call" (The best way) If you use the alert() function I just added:
Go to the Alerts menu (Clock icon).
Choose Condition: AV 9 - Multi-Alert.
Choose Dropdown: Instead of selecting "Bullish" or "Bearish," select Any alert() function call.
This will trigger whenever the code finds a divergence, and the message will automatically tell you which coin it was on (e.g., "Bullish Divergence on BTCUSD").
