Release Notes
Trading Sessions By TheTradingSmurf — EST sessions + optional rangesWHAT IT DOES
- Draws Asia, London, and New York sessions (boxes + H/L/M/O/C/AVG) in EST.
- Clean labels on the right edge for High / Low / Mid; optional info block (range/avg).
- No stray “full-height last-bar” lines (session lines update safely and stop at bar_index).
OPTIONAL RANGES (OFF by default)
- Premarket High/Low → color/thickness per market (default RED, width 2).
- Initial Balance (first N minutes of session) High/Low → per market (default YELLOW, width 1).
- Opening Range (first M minutes of session) High/Low → per market (default WHITE, width 2).
- Labels use smaller font to match the session style.
MARKET-AWARE BEHAVIOR
- Only shows optional ranges for the CURRENT market:
• During PREMARKET: builds the premarket range live.
• When the SESSION starts: the premarket lines persist across the whole session.
• After the session ends: all optional-range objects for that market are cleared.
- Asia, London, NY work independently with their own premarket windows.
CONFIGURABLE INPUTS
- Session times (EST) for Asia/London/NY.
- Toggle: Info block, session O/C lines, H/L/M lines, extend right, label age tags.
- Optional ranges toggles: Premarket HL, IB HL, OR HL.
- IB minutes (default 60) and OR minutes (default 15).
- Per-market colors + widths for Premarket / IB / OR.
- Hide objects older than N hours (default 48h).
DEFAULT STYLE
- Premarket: red
- Initial Balance: yellow (thin)
- Opening Range: white
NOTES
- Designed for intraday charts; throws a runtime message on D/W/M.
- All times are locked to America/New_York (EST/EDT) automatically.
- Efficient object management (deletes stale boxes/lines/labels) to keep charts snappy.
