Fed Cuts (ZQ) - Clear Signal (0-100)
Description:
0–100 “cuts signal” for how much markets expect the Fed to cut rates over the next
~12 months.
Colors at a glance:
0–33 = Calm (blue): little/no cuts priced.
33–66 = Watch (amber): cuts meaningfully priced.
66–100 = Act (red): substantial cuts priced / accelerating.
Key cues to watch:
Crosses up through 33 → “Watch”: prep reallocations; tighten risk; line up entries.
Crosses up through 66 → “Act”: tilt toward cut-beneficiaries; be careful with rate-sensitive cyclicals.
Falls back below 66: urgency cooling—scale back aggressive tilts.
Falls back below 33: back to baseline—return to neutral playbook.
Fast jumps (few days): rapid repricing—expect headline sensitivity.
Best use: Pair with my Risk mood and Labor Softness indicator.
Strong agreement = higher-conviction moves.
Symbols (once): Near = ZQ1!; Far ≈ ZQ13! (or same month next year). Adjust smoothing if it looks jumpy.
