Release Notes
This indicator automatically detects and highlights the Asian trading session directly on the chart using the Europe/Zurich timezone. It dynamically adjusts for daylight saving time, so no manual time changes are required between summer and winter.During the Asian session from 00:00 to 06:00 Zurich time, the script calculates the highest and lowest price levels and draws a visual box representing the full range. After the session ends, the high and low levels remain visible to support breakout and pullback analysis for the London open.
The indicator includes automatic session detection based on the Europe/Zurich timezone, background highlighting during the Asian session, automatic calculation of the session high and low, and a dynamic range box drawn around the full Asian price movement. It can also extend the high and low levels for the rest of the trading day, apply a weekday filter to ignore weekends, and allows full customization of colors and transparency for the box, background, and lines.
This tool is designed for traders who use session-based strategies, especially Asian range breakout approaches on Gold, Forex, and Indices. It helps identify consolidation during the Asian session, prepare for London breakout setups, visualize key support and resistance levels based on session structure, and improve consistency when backtesting session-based trading strategies.
