LazyTrader - BacktestingAs requested, here is a quick and basic strategy version of Lazy Trader for those who wish to play around with backtesting. I normally only use Lazy Trader with BTC on the daily chart but because I'm getting lots of people message me asking if it can be used on lower time frames and with other pairs, I've got the demo chart / screenshot showing an example of just that. ATR and T3 strategyT3 Moving Average indicator was originally developed by Tim Tillson in 1998/99. T3 Moving Average is considered as improved and better to traditional moving averages as it is smoother and performs better in trending market conditions. It offers multiple opportunities when the price is in the state of retracement and therefore allows to minimize your exposed risk and allowing your profits run. This strategy is for trend followers who are patient enough to have 6-10 trades per year. What's included in strategy? Two ATR (Code was taken from J.Dow and modified) Tillson Moving average Enter long signal: When both ATR (Long and Short) are in uptrend and the bar closes above Upper Tillson's moving average band: Enter Long Exit Long signal: When hl2 is lower than Lower Tillson Moving Average band Enter short signal: When both ATR (Long and Short) are in downtrend and the bar closes below Lower Tillson's moving average band: Enter Short Exit Shortsignal: When hl2 is higher than Upper Tillson's Moving Average band Best to use with Bitcoin on 12H TF Can be used for different time frames as well but the settings must be adjusted accordingly Remember, overtrading can be harmful to your trading account. Cyatophilum Trend Indicator [BACKTEST][STRATEGY]HOW IT WORKS Based on my Cyatophilum Trend Indicator, this Strategy performs simple Buy and Sell orders when an alert from the Indicator triggers. The goal is to find the best Time Frame and Trend Parameter in order to make the most profit. The indicator turns the candles green for a Long trade/Buy and red for a Short trade/Sell. ABOUT THE STRATEGY The Net Profit (Gross profit - Gross loss) is calculated with a commission of 0.05% on each order. Each trade is made with 1 BTC : The backtest buys 1 BTC and sells 1 BTC. It clearly outperforms the Buy & Hold line, meaning it is more profitable to use this strategy than to just hold Bitcoin. If you decided to Short or Long, profits can be higher, but trade at your own risk. MY PERSONNAL ADVICE This is a Trend Indicator, meaning the least profitable trades are made during flat markets. MACD + SMA 200 StrategyHere is a combination of the classic MACD (moving average convergence divergence indicator) with the classic slow moving average SMA with period 200 together as a strategy. This strategy goes long if the MACD histogram and the MACD momentum are both above zero and the fast MACD moving average is above the slow MACD moving average. As additional long filter the recent price has to be above the SMA 200. If the inverse logic is true, the strategy goes short. For the worst case there is a max intraday equity loss of 50% filter.

3-forcesThis strategy has three components. Philakones EMAs are a sequence of five fibonacci EMAs. They range from 55 candles (green) to 8 candles (red) in length. A strong trend or breakout is marked by the emas appearing in sequence of their length from 8 to 55 or vice versa. These EMAs are also used to signal an exit. Only two EMAs are used for exit signals - when the 13 EMA crosses over/under the 55 EMA . RSI gives a bullish signal when 40 > rsi > 70. Exit signals are oversold (30) or overbought (70) Stochastics give a bullish signal when stoch < 80 and an exit signal when > 95. Results include 3 ticks of slippage and taker fees of .002. Provides a pretty smooth equity curve with a 73% win rate and beats buy and hold by than 10x (returns about 60x overall) since start of 2017.
