Smart Money Breakouts [ChartPrime]The " Smart Money Breakouts " indicator is designed to identify breakouts based on changes in character (CHOCH) or breaks of structure (BOS) patterns, facilitating automated trading with user-defined Take Profit (TP) level.
the indicator incorporates essential elements such as volume analysis and a data table to assist traders in optimizing their strategies.
🔸 Breakout Detection:
The indicator scans price movements for "Change in Character" (CHOCH) and "Break of Structure" (BOS) patterns, signaling potential breakout opportunities in the market.
🔸User-Defined TP :
Traders can customize the Take Profit (TP) through the indicator settings, with these levels dynamically calculated based on the Average True Range (ATR). This allows for precise risk management and profit targets that adapt to market volatility.
🔸 Volume Analysis and Trade Direction Specific Analysis:
The indicator includes a volume checker that provides valuable insights into the strength of the breakout, taking into account trade direction.
🔸If the volume label is red and the trade is long, it suggests a higher likelihood of hitting the Stop Loss (SL).
🔸If the volume label is green and the trade is long, it indicates a higher probability of hitting the Take Profit (TP).
🔸For short trades, a red volume label suggests a higher likelihood of hitting TP, while a green label suggests a higher likelihood of hitting SL.
🔸A yellow volume label suggests that the volume is inconclusive, neither favoring bullish nor bearish movements.
🔸Data Table:
The indicator features a data table that keeps track of the number of winning and losing trades for specific timeframes or configurations.
This table serves as a valuable tool for traders to analyze performance and discover optimal settings and timeframes.
The "Smart Money Breakouts" indicator provides traders with a comprehensive solution for breakout trading, combining technical analysis of changes in character and breaks of structure, volume insights, and performance tracking while dynamically adjusting TP and SL levels based on market volatility through the ATR.
Barbwire [yohtza]This is an indicator that helps price action traders in determining when the market is in tight trading range.
Barbwire rules
The conditions for tight trading range are very simple. There has to be at least one doji (body is less than half size of the bars range from high to low) bar in the last three bars and there has to be lots of overlap between those bars. To quantify overlap indicator looks for bars that pull back 50% or more of the previous bars range and current bars that have 50% level touching the previous bar.
How to use this indicator?
For most traders it is best to avoid barbwire, only skilled and experienced traders who understand limit order trading can keep trading in these market conditions and still make money. So in simple terms it is a no trade zone and waiting for market to start trending again is most beneficial and greatly improves odds of achieving profitability and better trading results.
The term barbwire can be found in the books of Dr. Al Brooks which were the inspiration for creation of this indicator and are a great read for aspiring price action traders.
Momentum Memory Indicator
The Momentum Memory Indicator (MMI) is a custom tool designed to predict future price movements based on the historical momentum of an asset. By calculating the Rate of Change (ROC) and then averaging it over a specified "memory" period, the MMI provides a prediction that reflects both recent and slightly older momentum data. The prediction is visualized as a histogram, with colors indicating the direction of the momentum.
**Parameters:**
1. **Rate of Change Period (ROC Period):** This parameter sets the period for the Rate of Change calculation, which measures the momentum of the asset. The default value is 14.
2. **Memory Period:** This parameter determines the period over which the average momentum is calculated. By considering momentum over this "memory" period, the indicator aims to provide a more stable and reliable prediction. The default value is 5.
**Logic:**
1. **Rate of Change (Momentum):** The ROC is calculated based on the asset's closing prices over the specified ROC period. It provides a measure of how much the price has changed over that period, indicating momentum.
2. **Average Momentum:** The average momentum is calculated by taking a simple moving average (SMA) of the ROC values over the memory period. This smoothens out the momentum data and provides a more stable value for prediction.
3. **Prediction:** The prediction is calculated by adjusting the current closing price based on the average momentum. This gives an estimate of where the price might be in the next period, assuming the momentum continues.
4. **Prediction Color:** The color of the prediction histogram is determined by the direction of the average momentum. A positive momentum results in a green histogram, while a negative momentum results in a red histogram.
**Plots:**
1. **Prediction (Histogram):** Represents the predicted price movement based on the average momentum. The direction and magnitude of the histogram bars provide insights into the expected price change. The color of the bars (green or red) indicates the direction of the momentum.
Liquidity Spike PoolThe “Liquidity Pools” indicator is a tool for market analysts that stands out for its ability to clearly project the intricate zones of manipulation present in financial markets. These crucial territories emerge when supply or demand takes over, resulting in long shadows (wicks) on the chart candles. Imagine these regions as "magnets" for prices, as they represent authentic "liquidity pools" where the flow of money into the market is significantly concentrated. But the value of the indicator goes beyond this simple visualization: these zones, when identified and interpreted correctly, can play a crucial role for traders looking for profitable entry points. They can mutate into important bastions of support or resistance, providing traders with key anchor points to make informed decisions within their trading strategies.
A key aspect to consider is the importance of different time frames in analyzing markets. Larger time frames, such as daily or 4h, tend to host larger and more relevant liquidity zones. Therefore, a successful strategy might involve identifying these areas of manipulation over longer time frames through the use of this indicator, and then applying these findings to shorter time frames. This approach allows you to turn manipulation zones into crucial reference points that merit constant surveillance while making trading decisions on shorter time frames.
The indicator uses color to convey information clearly and effectively:
- Dark blue lines highlight candles with significant upper wick, signaling the possible presence of an important manipulation area in the considered area.
- Dark red lines are reserved for sizable candlesticks with significant upper wick, emphasizing situations that are particularly relevant to traders.
- Dark gray lines highlight candles with significant lower wick, providing a valuable indication of manipulation zones where the bid may have prevailed.
- White lines highlight sizable candlesticks with significant lower wick, clearly indicating situations where demand has been predominant and may have helped form a liquidity pool.
This indicator constitutes an important resource for identifying and clearly displaying candles with significant wicks, allowing traders to distinguish between ordinary market conditions and circumstances particularly relevant to their trading strategies. Thanks to the distinctive colors of the lines, the indicator offers intuitive visual guidance, allowing traders to make more informed decisions while carrying out their analyses.
75-100pipsGreen/Red Arrowed Buy/Sell signals are just simple buy sell signals based on SuperTrend, VWAP, Bollinger, Linear Regression
Purple Arrowed Buy/Sell Signals happen when the price/candle cross over or under the yellow outer lines (4.236 fib lines) It's extremely rare and hard for price to stay above these lines therefore we can usually and comfortably buy/sell it, a key information here though when price pumps or dumps super fast and hard to the point of crossing these borders, the trend might also be extremely strong and continous so even if the price temporarily goes back inside the borders as the lines expand over time price can continue riding or crossing these lines back again and continue the uptrend/downtrend, therefore crossing these outer borders doesn't necessarilly and always mean a reversal is due.
When analyzing the instrument you're trading the important factors for support/resistance areas are usually the outer lines like i said previously it's super hard for price to be outside these and will almost always get back inside quickly. The Middle thicker green/red line which is Variable Index Dynamic Average should also be a nice pivot line for major support and resistance . All the other lines are also important dynamic support/resistance lines.
Their Importance Order
1- Outer Yellow Line (4.236 Fibs)
2- Thicker Middle Green/Red Line (VIDYA)
3- Thinner Upper/Lower Green/Red Line (VIDYA +3, VIDYA -3)
4- The Rest Of The Lines (Fib Lines)
You can use this indicator in any market condition in any market to determine key support/resistance levels, use it for mean reversion through price expanding to outside of the most outer line therefore being overbought/oversold basically using the purple buy/sell signals or only follow the normal buy/sell signals or use it in confluence with each other. You can also use this indicator in confluence with your own manual technical analysis or other indicators/strategies you are already using and are comfortable with.
A good part is the support/resistance lines from timeframe to timeframe pictures the whole situation quite well, you can use lower timeframe to find your entry/exit positions and higher timeframe to find your key support/resistance points, they all should be somewhat in confluence from timeframe to timeframe anyways. My recommendation would be to look at 1HR, 4HR and 1D charts for swing trading and 5-15 Min for quick scalping/day trading
You should still probably at least take a look to higher timeframes so that you don't get burned when you realize there is a huge resistance line at price XXXXX on the 4 hour chart but you're expecting it to go above it on the 5 minute chart, it can go above it temporarily but we analyze everything on a closing basis so it most likely won't close above it. Again don't take a position or FOMO when price breaks a support/resistance line, we're looking for a CLOSE above/below them and a retest to see if S/R flip happened would even be better.
Sometimes the most outer line won't be the 4.236 (Yellow) lines as when it gets quite volatile the Thinner Upper/Lower Green/Red Lines (VIDYA +3, VIDYA-3) might cross them to be the most outer line, in this case i have observed that the trend is extremely strong this time price almost always doesn't go above or below the VIDYA line but can stay outside of the Yellow 4.236 Fib line for an extended amount of time (price will still get back inside the channel relatively quickly, just not as fast as the normal condition)
With Proper Risk Management and Discipline this indicator can be of great use to you as it's surprisingly successful especially at mean reversion and pointing out the support/resistance lines, they are so much more successful than your average MA/EMA lines.
Trendline Breakouts With Targets [ChartPrime]The Trendline Breakouts With Targets indicator is meticulously crafted to improve trading decision-making by pinpointing trendline breakouts and breakdowns through pivot point analysis.
Here's a comprehensive look at its primary functionalities:
Upon the occurrence of a breakout or breakdown, a signal is meticulously assessed against a false signal condition/filter, after which the indicator promptly generates a trading signal. Additionally, it conducts precise calculations to determine potential target levels and then exhibits them graphically on the price chart.
🔷 Key Features:
🔸 Trendline Drawing: The indicator automatically plots trendlines based on significant pivot points and wick data, visually representing the prevailing trend.
🔸 Breakout and Breakdown Signals : It triggers trading signals when a breakout (price moves above the trendline) or a breakdown (price moves below the trendline) is detected, helping traders identify potential entry points.
🔸 False Breakout/ Breakdown Filter ✔️: To enhance accuracy, the indicator incorporates a filter to reduce false breakout and breakdown signals, helping traders avoid premature entries.
🔸 Target Calculation: The indicator performs target-level calculations, a critical aspect of trade management.
These calculated target levels are visually displayed on the price chart, helping traders set precise profit targets and make well-informed trading decisions.
🔸 Color-Change Labels: The indicator features label color changes to provide quick visual cues. Labels are initially displayed in orange. When a take profit (TP) level is reached, the label changes to green, indicating a successful trade. Conversely, if a stop-loss (SL) level is hit, the label turns red, signaling a losing trade.
🔸 Settings :
This indicator combines technical analysis, trendline identification, breakout/breakdown signals, and risk management tools to assist traders in making more informed and efficient trading decisions. It can be a valuable addition to any trader's toolkit, helping them identify potential trade opportunities and manage risk effectively.
VWAP with CharacterizationThis indicator is a visual representation of the VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price), it calculates the weighted average price based on trading volume. Essentially, it provides a measure of the average price at which an asset has traded during a given period, but with a particular focus on trading volume. In our case, the indicator calculates the VWAP for the current trading symbol, using a predefined simple moving average (SMA) with a period of 14. This volume-weighted moving average offers a clearer view of the behavior of the VWAP and, of consequence of market dynamics.
One of the distinctive features of this indicator is its ability to provide a more "linear" representation of the data. This means that the data is "smoothed" to remove noise, allowing you to more easily identify the direction of the market trend. This smoother representation is especially useful because the financial market can be subject to significant fluctuations and volatility, and this indicator can help get a more stable view of the trend.
The indicator also offers a visualization of the market trend in a very intuitive way. Using an evaluation of the highs and lows of the last 10 days, determine whether the market is in an uptrend, downtrend, or no trend at all. To make this evaluation even clearer and more immediate, the indicator line is colored dynamically. When the trend is bullish, the line is blue, while in case of a bearish trend, it takes on a distinctive color, such as pink. If the trend is not defined, the line will be colored differently, for example light yellow. This coloration gives traders an immediate visual indication of the prevailing trend, allowing them to make more informed decisions regarding trading operations.
One potential strategy involves watching candles when they cross the VWAP line strongly. If, for example, a candlestick breaks above the VWAP line, we may look for retest areas near key support levels to gauge a potential long entry. In other words, we would consider that the price may have the potential to rise further after breaking above the VWAP line, and we would look to enter a long position to take advantage of this opportunity.
On the other hand, if a candlestick crosses below the VWAP line, we might consider looking for retest areas near the VWAP line itself, which now serves as potential resistance. This could indicate a possible short entry opportunity, as the price may struggle to break above the resistance represented by the VWAP line after breaking it down. In this case, we would look to take advantage of the expected continuation of the downtrend.
In both cases, the idea is to exploit significant movements across the VWAP line as signals of potential reversal or continuation of the trend. This strategy can help identify key entry points based on price behavior relative to the VWAP line.
HTF Fair Value Gap [LuxAlgo]The HTF Fair Value Gap indicator aims to display the exact time/price locations of fair value gaps within a higher user-selected chart timeframe.
🔶 USAGE
The indicator can be used to detect higher time frame fair value gaps. Detected historical HTF FVG are displayed as changes in chart background colors, with a green color indicating a bullish FVG and red a bearish FVG.

Improved EMA & CDC Trailing Stop StrategyImproved EMA & CDC Trailing Stop Strategy
Objective: This strategy seeks to exploit potential trend reversals or continuations using Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) and a trailing stop based on the Chande Dynamic Convergence Divergence (CDC) ATR method.
Components:
Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs):
60-period EMA (Blue Line): Faster-moving average that reacts more quickly to price changes.
90-period EMA (Red Line): Slower-moving average that provides a smoother indication of long-term price direction.
MACD Indicator:
Utilized to confirm the trend direction. When the MACD line is above its signal line, it may indicate a bullish trend. Conversely, when the MACD line is below its signal line, it may indicate a bearish trend.
CDC Trailing Stop ATR:
Used to set dynamic stop-loss levels that adjust with market volatility. This stop is based on the Average True Range (ATR) with a user-defined multiplier, providing the strategy with a flexible way to protect against adverse price movements.
Profit Targets:
Based on a multiple of the ATR, this sets an objective level at which to take profits, ensuring gains are captured while potentially still leaving room for further profitable movement.
Trading Rules:
Entry:
Long (Buy) Entry Conditions:
Price is above the 60-period EMA.
The 60-period EMA is above the 90-period EMA.
The MACD line is above its signal line.
Price is above the calculated CDC Trailing Stop ATR level.
Short (Sell) Entry Conditions:
Price is below the 60-period EMA.
The 60-period EMA is below the 90-period EMA.
The MACD line is below its signal line.
Price is below the calculated CDC Trailing Stop ATR level.
Exit:
Long (Buy) Exit Conditions:
Price reaches the predetermined profit target based on the ATR.
Price drops below the CDC Trailing Stop ATR level.
Short (Sell) Exit Conditions:
Price reaches the predetermined profit target based on the ATR.
Price rises above the CDC Trailing Stop ATR level.
Visualization:
The strategy displays the 60-period and 90-period EMAs on the chart.
The CDC Trailing Stop ATR levels for both long and short trades are also plotted for clarity.
The MACD Histogram is shown to visualize the difference between the MACD line and its signal line.
Recommendations: Before deploying this strategy, traders should backtest it across various historical data sets and market conditions. Regularly reviewing and potentially adjusting the strategy is recommended as market dynamics evolve.
DP_52W_HIGH_LOW_INDICATORThis indicator tracks the 52W High and Low of any script and provides a visual interpretation of the stock price movement.
It can be used as a quick tracking indicator for trading stocks / ETFs at their 52W Low.
A typical strategy will include buying such stocks at 52W Low and selling at 52W High.
Divergences RefurbishedJust as "a butterfly can flap its wings over a flower in China and cause a hurricane in the Caribbean" (Edward Lorenz), small divergences in markets can signal big trading opportunities.
█Introduction
This is a script forked from LonesomeTheBlue's Divergence for Many Indicators v4.
It is a script that checks for divergence between price and many indicators.
In this version, I added more indicators and also added 40 symbols to check for divergences.
More info on the original script can be found here:
█ Improvements
The following improvements have been implemented over v4:
1. Added parameters to customize indicators.
2. Added new indicators:
- Stoch RSI
- Volume Oscillator
- PVT (Price Volume Trend)
- Ultimate Oscillator
- Fisher Transform
- Z-Score/T-Score
3. Now there is the possibility of using 2 external indicators.
4. New option to show tooltips inside labels.
This allows you to save space on the screen if you choose the option to only show the number of divergences or just the abbreviations.
5. New option to show additional text next to the indicator name.
This allows for grouping of indicators and symbols and better visualization, whether through emojis, for example.
6. Added 40 customizable symbols to check for divergences.
7. Option "show only the first letter" of the indicator replaced by: "show the abbreviation of the indicator".
Reason: the indicator abbreviation is more informative and easier to read.
8. Script converted to PineScript version 5.
█ CONCEPTS
Below I present a brief description of the available indicators.
1. Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD):
Shows the difference between short-term and long-term exponential moving averages.
2. MACD Histogram:
Shows the difference between MACD and its signal line.
3. Relative Strength Index (RSI):
Measures the relative strength of recent price gains to recent price losses of an asset.
4. Stochastic Oscillator (Stoch):
Compares the current price of an asset to its price range over a specified time period.
5. Stoch RSI:
Stochastic of RSI.
6. Commodity Channel Index (CCI):
Measures the relationship between an asset's current price and its moving average.
7. Momentum: Shows the difference between the current price and the price a few periods ago.
Shows the difference between the current price and the price of a certain period in the past.
8. Chaikin Money Flow (CMF):
A variation of A/D that takes into account the daily price variation and weighs trading volume accordingly. Accumulation/Distribution (A/D) identifies buying and selling pressure by tracking the flow of money into and out of an asset based on volume patterns.
9. On-Balance Volume (OBV):
Identify divergences between trading volume and an asset's price.
Sum of trading volume when the price rises and subtracts volume when the price falls.
10. Money Flow Index (MFI):
Measures volume pressure in a range of 0 to 100.
Calculates the ratio of volume when the price goes up and when the price goes down.
11. Volume Oscillator (VO):
Identify divergences between trading volume and an asset's price. Ratio of change of volume, from a fast period in relation to a long period.
12. Price-Volume Trend (PVT):
Identify the strength of an asset's price trend based on its trading volume. Cumulative change in price with volume factor. The PVT calculation is similar to the OBV calculation, but it takes into account the percentage price change multiplied by the current volume, plus the previous PVT value.
13. Ultimate Oscillator (UO):
Combines three different time periods to help identify possible reversal points.
14. Fisher Transform (FT):
Normalize prices into a Gaussian normal distribution.
15. Z-Score/T-Score: Shows the difference between the current price and the price a few periods ago. I is a statistical measurement that indicates how many standard deviations a data point is from the mean of a data set.
When to use t-score instead of z-score? When the sample size is small (length < 30).
Here, the use of z-score or t-score is chosen automatically based on the length parameter.
█ What to look for
The operation is simple. The script checks for divergences between the price and the selected indicators.
Now with the possibility of using multiple symbols, it is possible to check divergences between different assets.
A well-described view on divergences can be found in this cheat sheet:
◈ Examples with SPY ETF versus indicators:
1. Regular bullish divergence with external indicator:
1. Regular bearish divergence with Fisher Transform:
1. Positive hidden divergence with Momentum indicator:
1. Negative hidden divergence with RSI:
◈ Examples with SPY ETF versus other symbols:
1. Regular bearish divergence with European Stoch Market:
2. Regular bearish divergence with DXY inverted:
3. Regular bullish divergence with Taiwan Dollar:
4. Regular bearish divergence with US10Y (10-Year US Treasury Note):
5. Regular bullish divergence with QQQ ETF (Nasdaq 100):
6. Regular bullish divergence with ARKK ETF (ARK Innovation):
7.Positive hidden divergence with RSP ETF (S&P 500 Equal Weight):

◈ Examples with BTCUSD versus other symbols:
1. Regular bearish divergence with BTCUSDLONGS from Bitfinex:
2. Regular bearish divergence with BLOK ETF (Amplify Transformational Data Sharing):
3. Negative hidden divergence with NATGAS (Natural Gas):
4. Positive hidden divergence with TOTALDEFI (Total DeFi Market Cap):
█ Conclusion
The symbols available to check divergences were chosen in such a way as to cover the main markets, in the most generic way possible.
You can adjust them according to your needs.
A trader in the American market, for example, could add more ETFs, American stocks, and sectoral indices, such as the XLF (Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund), the XLK (Technology Select Sector SPDR), etc.
On the other hand, a cryptocurrency trader could add more currency pairs and sector indicators, such as BTCUSDSHORTS (Bitfinex), USDT.D (Tether Dominance), etc.
If the chart becomes too cluttered, you can use the option to show only the number of divergences or only the indicator abbreviations.
Or even disable certain indicators and symbols, if they are not of interest to you.
I hope this script is useful.
Don't forget to support LonesomeTheBlue's work too.
YinYang Bar ForecastOverview:
YinYang Bar Forecast is a prediction indicator. It predicts the movement for High, Low, Open and Close for up to 13 bars into the future. We created this Indicator as we felt the TradingView community could benefit from a bar forecast as there wasn’t any currently available.
Our YinYang Bar Forecast is something we plan on continuously working on to better improve it, but at its current state it is still very useful and decently accurate. It features many calculations to derive what it thinks the future bars will hold. Let’s discuss some of the logic behind it:
Each bar has its High, Low, Open and Close calculated individually for highest accuracy. Within these calculations we first check which bar it is we are calculating and base our span back length that we are getting our data from based on the bar index we are generating. This helps us get a Moving Average for this bar index.
We take this MA and we apply our Custom Volume Filter calculation on it, which is essentially us dividing the current bars volume over the average volume in the last ‘Filtered Length’ (Setting) length. We take this decimal and multiply it on our MA and smooth it out with a VWMA.
We take the new Volume Filtered MA and apply a RSI Filter calculation on it. RSI Filter is where we take the difference between the high and low of this bar and we multiply it with an RSI calculation using our Volume Filtered MA. We take the result of that multiplication and either add or subtract it from the Volume Filtered MA based on if close > open. This makes our RSI Filtered MA.
Next, we do an EMA Strength Calculation which is where we check if close > ema(close, ‘EMA Averaged Length’) (Setting). Based on this condition we assign a multiplier that is applied to our RSI Filtered MA. We divide by how many bars we are predicting and add a bit to each predictive bar so that the further we go into the future the stronger the strength is.
Next we check RSI and RSI MA levels and apply multiplications based on its RSI levels and if it is greater than or less than the MA. Also it is affected by if the RSI is <= 30 and >= 70.
Finally we check the MFI and MFI MA levels and like RSI we apply multiplications based on its MFI levels and if it is greater than or less than the MA. It is also affected by if the MFI is <= 30 and >= 70.
Please note the way we calculate this may change in the future, this is just currently what we deemed works best for forecasting the future bars. Also note this script uses MA calculations out of scope for efficiency but there is potential for inconsistencies.
Innately it’s main use is the projection it provides. It only draws the bars for realtime bars and not historical ones, so the best way to backtest it is with TradingView’s Replay Tool.
Well, enough of the logic behind it, let's get to understanding how to use it:
Tutorial:
So unfortunately we aren’t able to plot legit bars/candles into the future so we’ve had to do a bit of a work around using lines and fills. As you can see here we have 4 Lines and 3 Zones:
Lines:
Green: Represents the High
Orange: Represents the Open
Teal: Represents the Close
Red: Represents the Low
Zones:
High Zone: This zone is from either Open or Close to the High and is ALWAYS filled with Green.
Open/Close Zone: This zone is from the Open to the Close and is filled with either Green or Red based on if it's greater than the previous bar (real or forecasted).
Low Zone: This zone is from either Open or Close to the Low and is ALWAYS filled with Red.
As you can see generally the Forecasted bars are generally within strong pivot locations and are a good estimation of what will likely go on. Please note, the WHOLE structure of the prediction can change based on the current bars movements and the way it affects the calculations.
Let's look 1 bar back from the current bar just so we can see what it used to Forecast:
As you can see it has changed quite a bit from the previous bar, but if you look close, we drew horizontal lines around where its projecting the next bar to be (our current realtime bar), if we go back to the live chart:
Its projections were pretty close for the high and low. Generally, right now at least, it does a much better job at predicting the high and low than it does the open and close, however we will do our best to fine tune that in future updates.
Remember, this indicator is not meant to base your trades on, but rather give you a Forecast towards the general direction of the next few bars. Somewhat like weather, the farther the bar (or day for weather), the harder it is to predict. For this reason we recommend you focusing on the first few bars as they are more accurate, but review the further ones as they may help show the trend and the way that pair will move.
We will conclude this tutorial here, hopefully this Predictive Indicator can be of some help and use to you. If you have any questions, comments, ideas or concerns please let us know.

Support & Resistance IndicatorThe MACD Support & Resistance indicator is an enhanced tool to better visualize potential supply (resistance) and demand (support) zones based on the MACD indicator. It combines the strength of the MACD with recent price highs and lows to depict potential breakout or reversal areas in the market.
Features:
MACD Settings: Users can adjust the fast length, slow length, source of MACD, signal smoothing, and MA type for both the oscillator and the signal line.
Dynamic Color Settings: Customize the color of supply boxes, demand boxes, and closed boxes for improved visualization.
Table View: An optional table can be displayed showing the average MACD high and low values, with customizable table position, size, background color, and text color.
Historical MACD Average: The indicator uses a historical average of MACD pivot highs and lows to determine potential support and resistance zones.
Real-Time Zone Detection: The indicator plots 'High Boxes' when the MACD crosses above its average high and 'Low Boxes' when it crosses below its average low, which signifies potential breakout or reversal zones.
How It Works:
The MACD line is calculated using user-defined moving average types (either EMA or SMA).
Pivot highs and pivot lows of the MACD are identified over a specified period.
Historical MACD highs and lows are stored and managed for average calculation. The average MACD high and low values are then used to determine potential trading zones.
When the MACD crosses over its average high, a 'High Box' (representing a potential breakout zone) is plotted from the recent high price to the candle top.
Conversely, when the MACD crosses under its average low, a 'Low Box' (indicating a potential reversal zone) is plotted from the recent low price to the candle base.
As price progresses, the boxes can either extend (if price stays within the zone) or close if a breakout happens.
For those who prefer a tabular view, an optional table displays the average MACD high and low, enhancing the on-chart data representation.
Use Cases:
Traders can use this indicator as an additional tool to spot potential breakout or reversal areas based on the MACD's behavior against its historical average. The visual representation in the form of boxes can assist in making better trading decisions by offering a clear picture of potential supply and demand zones.
Note: As with all trading indicators, it's advisable to use this tool in conjunction with other technical analysis methods or indicators for more informed decision-making.
Smart Money IndicatorSmart Money Indicator
Overview:
The "Smart Money Indicator" is a custom Pine Script indicator designed to help traders identify potential instances of "smart money" or institutional activity in the financial markets. The concept of "smart money" suggests that institutional investors or sophisticated market participants may have an edge due to their access to resources, information, and analytical tools.
Indicator Features:
Volume Moving Average: The indicator calculates a simple moving average (SMA) of the trading volume over a specified length (default is 20 bars). This moving average serves as a baseline for evaluating current trading volume.
Smart Money Signals: The indicator plots green triangles below the price bars when the current trading volume is significantly higher (50% above) than the moving average. This is intended to highlight potential instances of "smart money" activity.
Dumb Money Signals: Conversely, the indicator plots red triangles above the price bars when the current trading volume is significantly lower (50% below) than the moving average. This is meant to indicate potential "dumb money" activity.
How to Use:
Traders can use this indicator to identify potential shifts in market sentiment driven by institutional activity. When the green "Smart Money" triangles appear, it may suggest increased institutional interest or significant trading volume, potentially signaling a noteworthy market event. Conversely, red "Dumb Money" triangles may indicate periods of reduced institutional activity.
Disclaimer:
It's important to note that this indicator is a simplified representation of the concept of "smart money" and should be used in conjunction with other technical and fundamental analysis tools. Trading decisions should not be based solely on this indicator, and thorough research and due diligence are essential before making trading or investment decisions.
Customization:
Traders can customize the indicator by adjusting the length of the volume moving average to match their trading preferences and strategies. Experimentation and fine-tuning may be necessary to optimize its performance for specific markets and timeframes.
ICT HTF FVGs (fadi)ICT HTF FVGs displays the higher timeframe FVGs on current chart. This allows the trader to easily visualize the higher timeframe FVGs without having to mark them manually and see when price reaches point of interest for possible reversals or reaction.
This indicator attempts to provide as much flexibility possible by being able to define the following:
Higher Timeframe Settings
Timeframe to monitor
Bullish FVG color for this timeframe
Bearish FVG color for this timeframe
Maximum number of FVGs to display for this timeframe
Distance from current bar. This prevents overcrowding of FVGs
Hide Lower Timeframes from current chart. If this option is turned off, 5m timeframe FVGs will be displayed on an hourly chart as an example.
Show Border for the FVGs. Border color is derived from the FVG color
Show Mitigated FVG on the chart. The labels are removed to prevent the labels from overlapping with the candles on the chart/
Show C.E. Draws a line at the middle point of the FVG. This is usually an area of interest.
Show Label Shows the label with label color, background color, and label size.
Super SMA 5 8 13This indicator is based on the 5 8 13 simple moving average strategy of strategist Selçuk Gönençler. The indicator shows buy and sell signals when favorable conditions occur.
══ H O W T O U S E ══
Above 5-8-13 - Confirmed hold/buy
5 below (8-13 above) - Be careful, lose weight but don't run away.
Below 5-8 (above 13) - Risk has begun. Don't be stubborn. 13 is your last castle.
5-8-13 below. Don't fight! Wait until it rises above 5-8 again.
Buy/Sell BoxThis indicator tries to identify the points where the price exceeds or falls below a rectangle based on the opening and closing prices of the previous period, the creation of the boxes occurs when a doji is detected therefore it will calculate the coordinates of the rectangle that will be drawn around it, therefore the indicator offers buy or sell signals based on this logic. Specifically, the buy signal is generated if the closing price is above the top of the rectangle and satisfies some previous price conditions while the sell signal is generated if the closing price is below the bottom of the rectangle and satisfies some conditions of previous prices within a further threshold based on the Ema 150.
Lines are then drawn on the graph to visually display the extreme price levels, which can be useful for any confirmation of buy and sell signals, Stop Loss and Take Profit, Trend Filter (to visually understand if the trend is bullish or bearish)
A potentially effective trading strategy could involve identifying buy and sell signals near the extreme price level lines drawn by the indicator. This approach can be used to try to improve the accuracy of your trading signals and make more informed decisions. For example:
When you receive a buy or sell signal based on the dojis and rectangles generated by the indicator, check whether the price is also near one of the extreme price level lines. If you are receiving a buy signal and notice that the current price is near a low of the lower level line, this may further confirm the buying opportunity, as the price is near a significant resistance level. On the contrary, if the sell signal was close to a maximum price level it could confirm an excellent short entry.
It is also possible to use the boxes as reference points to set the stop loss and take profit levels. If you are entering a buy position, you might consider setting your stop loss just below an upper line of the last box. Additionally, you may want to set your take profit near a higher price level if you are looking to maximize profits. This will help manage risks and protect your capital.
7 consecutive closes above/below the 5-periodThis script looks for 7 consecutive closes above/below the 5-period SMA. The indicator is inspired by legendary trader Linda Raschke's work.
First are the two models for which the indicator was created, both inspired by Raschke:
1) Persistency of trend / Extended run setup.
Around 10-12 times per year we get a persistency of trend in instruments in general.
After 7 consecutive closes above/below the 5-period as price pulls back we can look to enter in the direction of the main trend as it moves up/down above/below 5 ma again. You should use price action trading to pinpoint the entries. Now try to hold this as long as possible. Way longer than you can percieve or think is possible. Up to 24-28 periods is what we are looking for in these cases.
2) Normal usage.
When the trend is not persistent, it is possible to use this as an oscillating signal, for a shorter term trade, where we can look for a short or long term reversal setup in price action.
3) I also use it at as a learning to see the swing trades clearer. You can also use it as a visual aid for developing new variances of the classic swing trading setup.

Bollinger Bands & Fibonacci StrategyThe Bollinger Bands & Fibonacci Strategy is a powerful technical analysis trading strategy designed to identify potential entry and exit points in financial markets. This strategy combines two widely used indicators, Bollinger Bands and Fibonacci retracement levels, to assist traders in making informed trading decisions.
Key Features:
Bollinger Bands: This strategy utilizes Bollinger Bands, a volatility-based indicator that consists of an upper band, a lower band, and a middle (basis) line. Bollinger Bands help traders visualize price volatility and potential reversal points.
Fibonacci Retracement Levels: Fibonacci retracement levels are essential tools for identifying potential support and resistance levels in price charts. This strategy incorporates Fibonacci retracement levels, including the 0% and 100% levels, to aid in pinpointing key price levels.
Long and Short Signals: The strategy generates long (buy) and short (sell) signals based on specific conditions derived from Bollinger Bands and Fibonacci levels. Long signals are generated when price crosses above the upper Bollinger Band and when the price is above the Fibonacci low level. Short signals are generated when price crosses below the lower Bollinger Band and when the price is below the Fibonacci high level.
Position Management: To prevent multiple concurrent positions of the same type (long or short), the strategy employs position management logic. It tracks open positions and ensures that only one position type is active at a time.
Exit Conditions: The strategy includes customizable exit conditions to manage and close open positions. Traders can fine-tune exit criteria to align with their risk management and profit-taking strategies.
User-Friendly: This strategy script is user-friendly and can be easily integrated into the TradingView platform, allowing traders to apply it to various financial instruments and timeframes.
Usage:
Traders and investors can apply the Bollinger Bands & Fibonacci Strategy to a wide range of financial markets, including stocks, forex, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. It can be adapted to different timeframes to suit various trading styles, from day trading to swing trading.
Disclaimer:
Trading carries inherent risks, and this strategy is no exception. It is essential to use proper risk management techniques, including stop-loss orders, and thoroughly backtest the strategy on historical data before implementing it in live trading.
The Bollinger Bands & Fibonacci Strategy is a valuable tool for technical traders seeking well-defined entry and exit points based on robust indicators. Southern Star Shadows with AlertThe "Southern Star Shadows with Alert" indicator in Pine Script is designed to identify and visually represent a specific candlestick pattern known as the "Southern Star Shadows" pattern on a TradingView chart. This pattern can provide traders with potential signals for both bullish and bearish market conditions.
Here's a short description of how the indicator works:
Pattern Identification: The indicator scans price data to identify the conditions that constitute a "Southern Star Shadows" pattern. It checks for a combination of factors, including the relationship between the current and previous candle's high, low, open, and close prices.
Signal Generation: The indicator assigns a signal based on the identified pattern. It generates a "1" for a bullish signal and "-1" for a bearish signal. If the pattern conditions are not met, it assigns a "0," indicating no clear signal.
Visualization: The indicator visually represents the signals by coloring the price bars. Bullish signals are typically colored in blue, while bearish signals are colored in red.
Triangle Plots: Additionally, the indicator plots small triangle shapes above the respective candles to highlight where the pattern occurred. Green triangles are used for bullish signals, and red triangles are used for bearish signals.
Alerts: Traders can set up alerts based on the indicator. When the pattern is detected and a signal is generated, the indicator sends an alert message, providing traders with a timely notification of potential trading opportunities.
Overall, the "Southern Star Shadows with Alert" indicator helps traders identify and react to potential trend reversal or continuation opportunities in the market by recognizing specific candlestick patterns and providing visual and alert-based signals.
