Bermuda is a paradise for those who love to snorkel, offering breath-taking views of eye-popping coral reefs, clear and warm water, and its famously beautiful pink sand. But the small island also has a busy economy and is the least populous country to rank among the richest in the world. Tourism is a huge economic boom for the country, and takes up a good share of total employment; but it’s also a home to a large number of international businesses, including insurance and financial services companies, which in 2021 accounted for about 85% of the country's GDP. Its stock market has been around for a while and is one of the largest offshore electronic securities markets in the world. You know what they say, good things comes in small packages.
