One of the biggest criticisms facing crypto is its high energy consumption. Now burning the annual draw of small countries like Malaysia and Sweden, the crypto sector has endured negative press for its contributions to climate change. But, some perform better than others - political and regulatory pressure (among good old fashioned eco-consciousness) means some coins, mining processes and systems are focussing heavily on reducing energy consumption. Here's a list of some of the more energy-efficient cryptos, but obviously, don't rely on us. The industry is changing all the time so do your own research before you come close to placing a trade.
