LQDB targets a specific segment of the investment grade universe, only selecting those rated BBB during the funds monthly rebalance. The fund is passively managed, and tracks an index composed of USD denominated bonds issued by US and non-US corporations within developed markets. There are no restrictions regarding maturity, but eligible bonds must have at least one year to maturity to be included in the index. Also, due to its narrow exposure, bonds that no longer satisfy all the criteria are removed at month-end and will not be eligible for re-entry within the next three months. Weighting for each constituent is based on market-value, and is capped at 3% per issuer.
