The investment universe of 200 highly traded US-listed stocks and ADRs is ranked based on implied volatility, the top 30 securities are defined as the meme stocks. The adviser then selects securities based on the analysis of their social media momentum. The resulting portfolio, consisting of 13 25 securities, is weighted based on implied volatility. Implied volatility is derived from options market prices, indicating the markets expectation of price swings. Rebalance may occur weekly. Roundhill MEME ETF was a similar index-tracking fund, focusing on meme stocks. It launched in Dec. 2021 and was closed in Dec. 2023.
