SNPE is an ESG-focused fund that draws its universe from the S&P 500. The fund excludes companies involved in tobacco, controversial weapons, ranks low with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) score ranking, and score bottom 25% of GICS ESG ratings within its industry. After exclusions are applied, companies are selected by ESG score, while at the same time mirroring the industry weightings of the S&P 500. The fund uses a full replication method to track the Underlying Index. As such, the fund invests directly in the component securities of the Underlying Index in substantially the same weightings in which they are represented in the Underlying Index. Rebalancing occurs annually. On Feb. 10, 2025, both the fund and its index dropped and replaced ESG name claims with Scored and Screened. The change has no effect on the funds strategy.
