VTG offers comprehensive exposure to US Treasurys. The fund tracks an index that consists of sovereign debt publicly issued by the US government. Eligible securities must be USD-denominated and fixed-rate, with a minimum outstanding face value of $300 million and at least one year remaining in maturity. The index specifically excludes TIPS and floating-rate notes. Like all Treasury debts, the funds holdings are backed by the full faith and credit of the US government. The index is market capitalization-weighted and is reconstituted and rebalanced on the last business day of each month.
