The Marine Insurance segment includes insurance for the loss or damage to goods in transit by sea, air and rail/lorry/truck. The Motor Insurance segment provides comprehensive motor insurance. The Engineering Insurance segment provides insurance for all kinds of Accidental, Electrical and Mechanical Breakdown which are caused due to internal causes, external causes, operational deficiencies and human errs. The Miscellaneous Insurance segment offers burglary and house breaking insurance policy and cash-in-transit insurance policy. The company was founded on March 18, 1996 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
