About Bhutan Balance Of Trade
Recent hydroelectric projects have narrowed Bhutan’s trade deficit. Bhutan mainly exports electricity, metals, chemical products, food, wood and rubber. Bhutan mainly imports oil and fuels, base metals, machinery and electrical appliances, vehicles, wood and food. Bhutan's main trading partner is India, accounting for 90 percent of foreign trade. Other partners include Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Bangladesh and Japan.
