TransCanada Trust is a unit trust. It has been formed for the purpose of issuing debt securities, including the Trust Notes, and acquiring and holding the Trust Assets in order to generate funds for payment of principal, interest, the redemption price and the amounts payable on purchase for cancellation, if any, and any other amounts, in respect of its debt securities, including the Trust Notes. The Trust was founded on September 16, 2014 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
