The fund primarily targets the 500 largest-cap companies but may also include mid- and small-cap stocks. Investments may come from any country, including emerging and developing markets. The fund can hold common and preferred stocks, depositary receipts (including those of Chinese companies via H-Shares), REITs, and other ETFs. Investment decisions consider factors like market capitalization, liquidity, and ease of access. Underlying ETFs may be used to efficiently gain exposure to countries, regions, sectors, or specific investment styles. The fund always invests in at least three countries, including the US, and its portfolio is rebalanced at least annually, or more frequently at the sub-advisers discretion.
