PSCU delivers concentrated exposure to small-cap utilities and telecommunication services. Its portfolio thus differs markedly from the broader utilities universe, even beyond the obvious size tilt. PSCU typically overweights small natural gas utilities and underweights electric utilities, which are dominated by large-caps. It also includes telecoms, which our all-cap benchmark excludes. The fund typically holds just a handful of names, and offers some of the segments most concentrated exposure all in small-caps of course. For these reasons, PSCUs performance has differed materially from those of the typical large-cap-dominated utility ETFs.
