The fund initially screens out companies involved in controversial business activities, as determined by Sustainalytics. Firms ESG profiles are then assessed using corporate filings and public disclosures to remove companies with high business controversy levels and high ESG Risk Rating Scores. Companies must also comply with the principles of the UN Global Compact. Remaining securities are selected for inclusion and are weighted according to a combination of their ESG Risk Rating Scores and market capitalizations.
