TRIL is the first ETF designed to provide exposure to a narrow group of companies and crypto assets with market capitalizations over $1 trillion. The fund considers US-listed companies and crypto assets through US-listed ETFs. Crypto ETFs generally gain exposure to crypto assets, such as Bitcoin, through derivatives. Investments are screened for market capitalization amounting to $1 trillion or greater. If a crypto asset has a market capitalization of $1 trillion or greater, the fund selects the largest Crypto ETF based on total assets. During periods where there are fewer than five securities, the five largest are selected. The portfolio is weighted equally. However, if fewer than five meet the $1 trillion target, larger weightings are allocated to the assets that meet the requirement. The fund does not directly invest in crypto. The index is reconstituted and rebalanced monthly.
