This includes cash equivalents such as T-bills, government bonds, corporate debt, emerging market bonds, and securitized bonds. Securities held by the fund may be issued from anywhere in the world. The fund seeks to maintain an investment grade average credit rating but may also invest in high-yield securities. The portfolio is designed to balance capital protection and yield enhancement. To select securities, the fund adviser combines top-down macroeconomic analysis with bottom-up fundamental metrics. The fund actively manages duration, sector exposure, credit quality, yield, and foreign currency exchange profile.
