Position SizingVIP behaved well when the market was going through a correction. Stock held its uptrend and its territory around its 50 DMA when the general market was correcting. Having two positions stock blasted out today. There was an opportunity for a third position.
But I manage my portfolio through a risk management rule, where i take no position if my portfolio risk on my open positions are more then 5-6% of my total capital. So it dint allow me to buy my third position. These risk management rules allow me to not worry about what the market does next day nor about the global markets, it helps me stay with my positions peacefully. Which in turn leads to a better trading process.
