SLZN is an actively managed ETF that aims to provide exposure to senior secured floating rate investments or its equivalents, such as senior secured floating rate bank loans or debt, fixed-rate loans or debt, such as corporate bonds, convertible notes, collateralized loan obligations, senior loans, structured products and U.S. government debt securities. The fund does not aim for a specific credit exposure nor a maturity bracket. Up to 20% of assets may be invested in foreign securities, and up to 20% in non-USD securities. The fund may also allot assets to companies that have defaulted in the payment of interest or principal or in the performance of its covenants or agreements, or that may be involved in bankruptcy proceedings, reorganizations or financial restructurings. SLZN began as the MetWest Floating Rate Income Fund, with $293.7 million in assets before converting to an ETF.
