TOKAI Holdings Corp. engages in the management of its group companies which provides the energy, and information and communications related businesses. It operates through the following business segments: Energy, Information and Communications, CATV, Building, Facilities and Real Estate, and Aqua. The Energy segment involves sales of LNG, other high-pressure gases and petroleum products, supply of city gas, sales of related products, construction work for related facilities and equipment, security, etc. The Information and Communications segment engages in software development, information processing services, Internet connections, sales of telecommunications equipment, and agency business. The CATV segment operates broadcasting and internet connections via CATV networks. The Construction Equipment Real Estate segment involves the construction of houses and other buildings, the development, sale and rental of real estate, the sale of construction materials and equipment such as housing equipment, and the construction, renovation, civil engineering and electrical work of ancillary facilities and equipment for buildings, etc. The Aqua segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of drinking water. The company was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Shizuoka, Japan.
