The ETF invests exclusively in Cameco Corp. (TSX: CCO), while employing an active covered call writing strategy. CCO is one of the worlds largest uranium producers, involved in the exploration, mining, milling, refining, conversion, and fuel fabrication of uranium. The fund aims to provide long-term capital appreciation and high monthly cash distributions, using leverage up to 25% of portfolio assets and selling calls on up to half of the portfolio. The upside potential is capped based on the call options written and may result in a drag on the portfolio in a rising market. However, the downside risk is cushioned up to the amount of premiums received. The fund may hold cash, money market instruments, or other equivalents at any time, and use derivatives to reduce costs and increase trading liquidity and efficiency. The funds aggregate exposure, which includes the market value of securities sold short, any borrowing arrangements, and derivative positions, must not exceed 300%.
