The fund-of-funds seeks to provide monthly cash distributions and the potential for capital appreciation by actively investing in a portfolio of exchange-traded funds listed on a North American stock exchange, primarily those that are managed by the fund manager. These underlying funds hold large-cap stocks, investment grade bonds, or money market instruments issued by governments and corporations. Exchange-traded funds that engage in covered call strategies may also be included. Under normal market conditions, the fund seeks to maintain a long-term asset allocation of approximately 60% equities and 40% fixed income securities. However, at times, the fund may allocate 30%-50% of its assets in bonds and a minimum of 75% in covered call funds. The fund manager selects underlying funds based on equity sub-sector allocations, fixed income duration, and diversification. The portfolio is reconstituted and rebalanced quarterly.
