The fund aims to offer an alternative investment from conventional equity funds by delivering consistent monthly income and diverse growth opportunities. Composed of a leveraged, equal-weighted basket of six large-cap Harvest equity income ETFs, the multi-sector global portfolio captures high-quality companies whose existing yields are combined with a covered call option to generate income and offset volatility. The fund can actively invest more than 10% of its assets in single issuers, may borrow cash, short-sell, and employ leverage, above the limits of traditional ETFs, as permitted by Canadian laws. The fund may borrow cash or short-sell up to 50% of its NAV. As part of its broad strategy, the fund may invest in other ETFs, use derivatives, hedge currencies, and engage in securities lending.
