The fund actively and primarily invests in a broad portfolio of investment-grade debt securities from developed markets, specifically in North America. In seeking capital appreciation, the fund may also hold other debt instruments across the credit spectrum such as international fixed-income securities, preferred shares, convertibles, and junk bonds provided that it will not exceed 30% of the portfolio.
