Great value broker. Excellent breadth and depth of trading instruments/products. IBKR trading platform is not so great though. Luckily, we have this TradingView integration now, and hopefully we will soon be able to trade Forex as well.

Excellent broker low cost
Been using IBK for a few years now. No major issues. Obviously TWS is antiquated, hence using the TV integration.

I primarily got IBKR to have a backup for using TradeStation with TradingView integration and secondarily for automated trading. IBKR is adequate it seems when monitoring trades that are using an automated entry algo or if you are trading on a higher timeframe and have plenty of time. However the lag I get with IBKR when using TradingView integration in comparison with TradingView is rather significant. Trying to use the long/short drawing to create a limit order lags for seconds and you get a pop up about the order slowing everything up. Bottom line is that IBKR is NOT currently optimized for fast trading using TradingView.
